We had a great time and the process was easy from start to finish, even when I booked the wrong chalet by mistake. Check in was quick and easy and we appreciated your help to get our luggage up the slope. I swear the slope became steeper towards the end of the week! We usually stay in La Couronne. but as it was booked we stayed at L'Ecureuil which we found had everything we wanted and was of a slightly higher standard. We'll definitely be back.
Thank you for a lovely stay in Le Chalet. It was our second stay and we all agreed the highlight is the wonderful hot tub. The service from Alpine Essence was excellent from booking the chalet to their responsiveness when we had an issue which was resolved quickly despite it being their day off.

Nous sommes très content de notre séjour á Vallandry. Le chǎlet “Le Cairn” était très comfortable et tous, adultes et enfants l’ont apprécié.
Mais c’est surtout le service du personnel qui était très bien: l’acceuil á l’arrivée ainsi que l’organisation général était impeccable, comme le service bagages qui est bien organisé. C’est pourquoi on a L’intention de revenir l’année prochaine.

Je voudrais particulièrement remercier l'équipe Alpine Essec (Pippa, Hana et Emma) qui nous ont proposé tellement de bons plans (location de ski à domicile, massages avec un masseur hors pair).
J'en oublierais presque le logement très sympa, lits très confortables. Je recommande sans aucune hésitation de louer avec cette agence très pro et bienveillante !
My group had stayed at The Hunting Lodge the previous year and we were delighted to have been able to secure it again for our annual visit to Vallandry in January 2024. We had previously stayed at Chalet La Couronne, another fabulous chalet managed by Alpine Essence and as always, we were greeted warmly by the reception team and our bags were whisked away and taken to the chalet to await our arrival after check-in administration was completed. The team at Alpine Essence was as helpful as ever with fresh deliveries each morning from the boulangerie, next day delivery of wood and kindling for the fire, as well as being a mine of information for local services including the wonderful Chloe, a local caterer who cooks delicious food and delivers it to the chalet. They even pre-order your ski passes for you! We cannot wait to return in 2025. The past five years we have had nothing but good experiences with our bookings through Alpine Essence. Great service. Great people.
We all wanted to say a massive thank you to all of your team for making our stay so lovely. From answering all of our questions so quickly and letting us reserve it as soon as it became available so we could have this week. The team also helped us with our bags and giving our little toddler a lift up in the buggy to help out which we really appreciated. This is our second stay at Le Cairn and we will definitely be back.

Chalet Soleil 2 was an excellent choice for our family of 5 adults. Sleeping 6 adults is fine but downstairs becomes cramped on the sofa. Bread service delicious and you're close to the lift. Ideal. Highly recommended. Complete kitchen and water pressure for showering was very good.
Bel appartement pour une famille de 6 personnes, instructions claires et prise des lieux simple. En plus chez Ekosport nous avons pu laisser nos skis et chaussures donc au top pour cette activité, des navettes pour rejoindre 1800 sans voiture. À renouveler
We had a wonderful stay at Le Chalet last week. It was a great chalet, perfect for our 2 families of five. There was plenty of space for everyone, the living room especially with its cosy fireplace was a fantastic room to be in. We all enjoyed the luxury of the sauna room (lovely shower) and the hot tub with its great views. The kitchen is on the small side in terms of work surface and only one sink isn’t very practical - but it was well equipped and the large dining table worked well. Being able to ski on and ski off was also brilliant.
Pippa at Alpine Essence and all the staff were helpful from the beginning when first enquiring about chalets. We appreciated the friendliness and personal touch. Your recommendation for Chloe’s Cuisine to cater was spot on (she was amazing). The app where you could order bread and croissants and wood for the fire was easy and extremely convenient.
All in all we would definitely recommend Le Chalet and Alpine Essence. Thanks for a great holiday!
