Summer in the mountains

Peisey Vallandry / Les Arcs has 11 lifts ready to carry you up to above 3000m, an area accessible to both bikers and walkers alike. Come and try it and see for yourself.

Summer activities

MTB

This area provides for both beginner and expert alike as there is such a wide variety of riding to be had.

The bike park offers 9 lifts and 25 trails just for MTBikers. 150km of posted trails, 3 Ebike trails, 8 downhill, 5 enduro, and much more.

Road bike

Cycling up the mountain passes calls for strong legs but the views make it all worthwhile.

Each weekend, a different pass is closed to traffic to allow you to pedal in complete safety.

You can even follow the routes of the Tour de France as they pass by here almost each year!

Randonnée (Hiking/trekking).

You can either walk up to the peaks or take the lifts to discover the amazing scenary. Don’t forget to take the sun cream water and a picnic!

Climbing

There are a huge number of bolted sport climbing routes in the area including Notre dame de Pré. There is also a kids climbing wall in Arcs 1800 and if you prefer indoor climbing there are large walls in Tignes and Albertville plus smaller ones in Val D'Isere and Bourg St Maurice.

Via Ferrata

Introduce climbing to the whole family, and share fun with safety and some stunning views at the same time, at the Via Ferrata located at the gateway to the National park of Rosuel.

White water activities

Rafting, hydrospeed, canyoning and other exhilarating white water sports can be found here on the fast flowing Isere river, where the kayak world championships are often held.

Festivals and fetes

Musical festivals, both classic and contemporary, 'la fête de la costume’, (traditional local festival), the agricultural salon with the local variety of cow, the Tarine, the freestyle airshow, the world championship trials bike competition, running and much much more to be discovered during your mountain holiday.

Hero kids

Accompanied activities for youngsters of all ages, from climbing to making a teepee. Program varies from day to day to cover nearly every mountain sport available.

Tree top adventures

Nestled at the entrance to the National park, Gli-Air takes you on a tree top adventure with 27 zip lines, one of nearly 200m and lots of fun tree top activities.
