Getting here
There are many ways to travel to Peisey-Vallandry, each with its own benefits. Take a closer look at your travel options.
We would suggest either:
- Fly direct to one of the local airports and take a transfer or hire a car
- Drive here in the comfort of your own car
- Take a train direct to Bourg St Maurice or Landry. If coming from UK you can take the overnight snow train, go to sleep in London wake up in Bourg Saint Maurice

By road
From all inbound routes take the A43 to Albertville then the N90 to Moutiers. When entering Moutiers take the left lane marked Bourg Saint Maurice through the small tunnel. Follow this road for approx. 20km passing the exit for Aime La Plagne. About 7km past Aime take right turning signposted Laundry. Follow this road over the railway tracks and up the mountain towards Peisey Vallandry. Continue through Peisey and Moulin, over 4 sets of speed bumps, making sure you turn left towards Vallandry at the junction with Nancroix to your right
By train
TGV Direct from Paris – Bourg Saint Maurice (17km) or Laundry (7km).

Baggage service
Some of our chalets are in a car free chalet park. However, Alpine Essence will take your luggage from your car to your chalet on one of our quad bikes. Our quads have ample trailers so they can take all the luggage you can bring!
Bread orders
Bread, baguettes, croissants and pain aux chocolat can be delivered to your chalet door in the morning. Delivery is free.
