The metamorphose of the 1992 built Transarc linking Arcs 1800 to the mountain summits.
This summer the emblematic Transarc, built in 1992 which links the ski resort of Arc 1800 to the top of the mountains will undergo a metamorphose consisting of a new welcome and lift pass zone at the foot of the lift, a modern moving escalator to take you from the village centre to the start of the new lift and a new panoramic terrasse at the very top giving you amazing views across the Alpes and beyond.
The new comfortable 10 place cabins made by Poma will be added at the start of winter 24/25 taking only 13 minutes to move you from top to bottom and there has been a lot of thought about optimising the electrical consumption with over 600 solar panels added to the new lift.
A new mineral gallery will be added at the interstation at a later date completing the works to this amazing mode of transport so don’t miss out next winter season and come and try it for yourselves!
